Staff
We employ 6 staff at Little Rainbows Playgroup that work directly with the children. All our staff have an enhanced DBS and have completed first aid and basic safeguarding training alongside many other courses.
The manager has over 10 years experience working with children in various settings and is qualified to level 5 in childhood studies. The manager is the SENCO, behaviour management officer, food hygiene, safer recruitment training, first aid and safe guarding.
We have an acting deputy manager who is qualified at level 3 who has over 8 years experience and has first aid, safe guarding training and is the deputy SENCO.
Our administrative assistant is also bank staff who is qualified to level 3 and has over 20 years experience in childcare and admin duties.
We have two level 2 trainees who both have first aid and safe guarding training.
At Little Rainbows Playgroup we are continuously improving our personal development by training courses and staff meetings where everyone has an input to planning, this is not only for personal benefits but to provide the highest standard of care to the children.
We also have a cleaner/cook who has been associated with playgroup for 5 years as a parent, she has health and safety training, enhanced DBS and food hygiene.
